How Iphone Insurance Was Conceived Because Of A Misplaced Phone In A Bar.
If you are a avid Apple fan and made it a habit of keeping in track what is new in Apple, you may have already heard about the leakage done by the website Gizmodo on the iPhone 4, which was not yet officially released and while Steve Jobs is still planning his presentation on the new iPhone version, Gizmodo has already done their own version of the iPhone 4 unveiling.
But just in case you haven’t heard about it, I’m sure you will be equally stunned when you find out just how did these people from Gizmodo get their hands on this secret prototype from Apple and spoil their grand official launch.
No, they didn’t dress up like ninjas in the middle of the night and stormed Apple laboratories to get a hold of this prototype. It was found, believe it or not, in the most unlikely places: in a German beer garden in Redwood City California.
It was a guy named Gray Powell, a Apple software engineer who took the working prototype for a secret field testing. But what he did not consider is that he and his friends are about to celebrate his birthday and taking the phone with him will risk it from either being lost or stolen. And that’s exactly what happened. He forget it there and landed in the hands of someone who knew people from Gizmodo and before Mr. Jobs could do anything about it, they were already exposing the very designs of the phone in their website.
Soon after this unforeseen and unauthorized introduction, a plethora of comments and reviews stormed the website of Gizmodo and Apple, already making comments of what they feel about the new iPhone and their anticipation for the actual world wide release by Apple.
Naturally, other related companies begin to give attention, particularly the iPhone insurance industry. Every time there is news that Apple will release a new product, they are always designing new policies to answer the insurance needs of the owners.
As the news of this spread out, these insurance firms went to work on the policy design and prepared the stage for iPhone 4 insurance searches in the web. They created articles and links to their website and created a need to get the proper insurance once the iPhone 4 was officially released in the market. And all of this, thanks to the leakage caused by Gizmodo.
Indeed Apple engineers are very sensitive about information leaking and compromising any exclusive technology that they have. But as from the iPhone insurance industry’s stand point, this one piece of vital information was the stage point they needed to get a clean position in providing the insurance users what they will need upon the official release of this awesome smart phone.
